NU School of Biotechnology's Faculty Attend the OPPM 3rd All-Partners Meeting in Kiel, Germany

The faculty at the School of Biotechnology at Nile University traveled to Germany to attend the 3rd all-partners meeting for the Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine (OPPM) program held at the University of Kiel. During the meeting, the partnering universities summarized the latest updates on the progress of different work packages and outlined expectations of what is to be achieved in the upcoming period of the project.

The School of Biotechnology at Nile University gave a presentation on the progress of work package 3, in which they are the leading partner. Under the guidance of Nile University, the consortium partners successfully purchased and installed cutting-edge experimental setups that are to be used in teaching the OPPM diploma and master's program.

OPPM is a consortium funded by the European education program ERASMUS+ that aims at designing the first diploma and MSc program in pharmacogenomics and personalized medicine in Egypt and the Middle East. The consortium is led by Alexandria University and includes universities and organizations from all around the world including Nile University.
