NU School of Biotechnology Holds its 6th Session of the Biotech Seminar Series
NU School of Biotechnology staff attended the 6th episode of the Biotech Seminar Series aiming at discussing the staff's ongoing research and latest field developments.
The session was presented by Teaching Assistant Ms. Yomna Youssef who gave valuable insight into her latest research entitled "Exploring the Effect of Biocontrol rhizobacteria on Plant Hormonal Responses and Inducing Systemic Resistance".
Her talk discussed how the hormonal pathways that drive a plant's immune response are affected by beneficial rhizobacteria, which are used as biocontrol agents and trigger systemic resistance.
