Guest Speaker Dr. Abdelaziz Nasr Holds a Talk as Part of the Genetic Engineering II Course

Guest speakers provide an excellent opportunity for students to learn from global experts about the latest advancements in the field of Biotechnology.

 

Dr. Abdelaziz Nasr, Assistant Professor of Plant Stress Physiology, was invited as a guest speaker as part of the Genetic Engineering II course led by Dr. Arwa Kohela.

 

Dr. Nasr presented a talk on “Real Life Applications of Plant Transformation” where he explained the different tools of generating transgenic plants and discussed his latest research findings obtained during his studies on drought stress physiology at the University of Bonn, Germany and University of Verona, Italy.
