Shaimaa Abdullah is a full-time teaching assistant. She holds an M.Sc. in Plant breeding from a double degree program in France and Finland. At the University of Helsinki, Finland, she successfully performed her MSc thesis project in plant molecular biology understanding the dynamics of certain nuclear bodies in plants. She has obtained her B.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology program, Cairo University. Since graduation, she dedicated her future career towards science and academia. It was obvious her passion of communicating science that boosted her to be one of the global fellows of science communication program at Cornell University in USA. She is determined to proceed to her Ph.D. in revealing the genetic networks and regulation behind the response of plant external stressors.
