Malak Zakaria is a dedicated Teaching Assistant in the Applied Biotechnology program at Nile University. With a Bachelor's degree in Applied Biotechnology from Nile University and a stellar academic record (GPA 4.00). Her BSc research graduation project entitled "Bacterial Detoxification of Lead in Environmental Samples: A Sustainable Solution to Metigate Water Scarcity in Egypt" allowed the identification of 7 bacterial strains with applications in bioremediation, which was published on NCBI.
During her undergraduate studies, Malak received the President's Honor for 3 consequtive times and the prestigious Nile University President’s Cup. She further earned the 3rd place award at the 15th Undergraduate Research Forum (UGRF15th) for the innovative “Packocine” project, a sustainable and eco-friendly antimicrobial food packaging solution.
