Entrepreneurship

This course is geared towards giving students a comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurs and the concept of entrepreneurship, including its economic implications and historical background. We will learn about the significance of small businesses, the role of entrepreneurship in economic growth, and different types of entrepreneurs. Aspects such as features and types of businesses and entrepreneurs, sources of business ideas, innovation and entrepreneurship, the life cycle of a small business, and the small business sector in Croatia will be talked about. Furthermore, students will acquire knowledge about different forms of entrepreneurial organization, sources of capital, the entrepreneurial process, strategies for starting up a new business, purchasing an existing business, franchising, and family businesses. The procedures required in starting a business, such as developing a business concept and producing a business plan, will also be covered in the course. Entrepreneurial management, venture marketing, and the scientific and technological components of entrepreneurial enterprises are further themes. The information economy, the fundamentals of building a company investment, and business processes including product design, operational art, and stock management will also be covered in the course
