Members of the OPPM Project Convene for a Final All-Partners Meeting in Oviedo, Spain
Members of the OPPM program, including Nile University, convened in Oviedo, Spain, for a final All-Partners Meeting. The meeting aimed to discuss the project's progress, recent updates, and strategies for sustaining its mission moving forward. OPPM is a consortium funded by the European education program ERASMUS+ that aims to design the first diploma and MSc programs in pharmacogenomics and personalized medicine in Egypt and the Middle East. The consortium is led by Alexandria University and includes universities and organizations from around the globe, including Nile University.
Student Nabil Hazza Performs an Internship at Osaka University Graduate School of Science in Japan
We are incredibly proud of our biotechnology senior student, Nabil Hazza, who recently completed a prestigious summer internship at Osaka University Graduate School of Science in Japan! Nabil had the amazing opportunity to join Professor Naotada Ishihara’s lab, where he explored the dynamics of mitochondrial fusion and fission. His research internship focused on studying the role of DRP1 protein on the morphology of the mitochondrial nucleoid.
