Teaching Assistant Ms. Yomna Youssef Wins the Best Poster Award at GASB 2023
We are very excited to announce that Ms. Yomna Youssef won the 1st Place Best Poster Award at the German-Arab Symposium on Bioinformatics (GASB 2023) held on September 23rd - 25th at the German University in Cairo (GUC).
Ms. Yomna is a Teaching Assistant at NU School of Biotechnology and has participated with a DAAD- and German Federal Foreign Office-funded project entitled “Single cell type prediction through machine learning based models”.
The symposium embraced the official inauguration of the German-Arab Research Network for Computational Life Science (GARN-CLS) to foster global research collaborations with academic partners from Germany, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, and the EG-CompBio as a non-university partner.
