NU School of Biotechnology Organizes the OPPM Dissemination Event
In a ground-breaking meeting, the School of Biotechnology at Nile University hosted the Dissemination Event of the Online Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine Postgraduate Program (OPPM). The event welcomed reputable speakers and guests from various academic and research institutions who shed light on the significance of pharmacogenomics and personalized medicine in Egypt and worldwide. It further provided an overview of the OPPM program and how it successfully allowed the implementation of the concepts of pharmacogenomics and personalized medicine in a postgraduate program for the first time in Egypt and the Middle East.
Members of the OPPM consortium include Alexandria University, Nile University, Fayoum University, Al-Alfi Foundation, Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357, Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, American University in Beirut, Beirut Arab University, Oviedo University, University of Kiel, Democritus University of Thrace, and Newcastle University.
