Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve - a hot spot for Cyanobacteria with toxic potential
We are excited to invite you to a compelling lecture hosted by Nile University, featuring Dr. Maria Iasmina Moza, Assistant Professor at the University of Bucharest, Romania, and an esteemed researcher in aquatic ecology and biodiversity conservation.
Dr. Moza will provide fascinating insights into the ecological significance of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, one of Europe’s most valuable natural wetlands and a global biodiversity hotspot. She will explore the distribution and seasonal dynamics of cyanobacteria, their toxic potential, and the environmental factors influencing their development.
With a Ph.D. in aquatic ecology and extensive experience in microbiology, genetics, and conservation, Dr. Moza has made significant contributions to scientific research and education. Currently, she leads initiatives as the president of MOZA FOUNDATION and founder of ROZIM, promoting microorganism awareness and education in Romania.
This lecture offers a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge research on biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
